Explored, yet unexplored. Breathtaking scenery and beautiful people.

VANCOUVER:
My journey started in Vancouver; temperate and beautiful. I stayed in the downtown, which has some wonderful restaurants (Nightshade was one of the unique ones) to offer. Amongst the few things I would recommen that you do when you are in Vancouver is to visit the Stanley Park, Vinyl Stores for music, and if that isn’t enough music for you, then Vancouver Public Library. There are some wonderful hikes close to the city that you can explore as well.

CALGARY / BANFF:
My next stop was the coldest state in Canada; Alberta. Landed in Calgary to a white bed of ice. The weather app showed -13 degrees celsius. Stepping out in the cold was not as bad as it seemed. The ride to Banff National Park from Calgary was a sight to behold. Pine trees and snow on either sides of the road. This was undershadowed when I reached Lake Louise. It’s an absolutely magical place. I haven’t seen the lake in Summer, and thus it shall definitely be on my to-do list. I wouldn’t say much of what it is, maybe the few pictures below do justice to the beauty of the place. I hiked the mountain next to the lake and skied, both of them experiences of a lifetime.

TORONTO:
Surprisingly, the coldest that I felt in Canada was not in Calgary or Banff, but Toronto. The winds were brutal. Except for that, the city is amazing. It’s up and alive, day or night. Much to do in the city. Wonderful places to eat, and Niagara falls close by.
P.S – The Canadian side of Niagara is way better than the USA.

MONTREAL:
Lastly, the French speaking town of Montreal. I think this city has the best food in the entire country. The walks are amongst the best, if not the best. When in town try the fresh maple taffy.
